Football: Denison drops Earlham to complete winning season
Trailing 10-6 at halftime, the Big Red outscored Earlham College 19-0 over the final two quarters of play and limited them to just 40 yards of total offense, resulting in a 25-10 win over the Quakers in a cold and blustery season finale from Richmond, Ind.

Football: Big Red downs Kenyon on Senior Day
Over the last three seasons the Kenyon Lords offense has averaged 40.3 ppg and 450 yards per contest against the Big Red. On Saturday, with the chances of their first winning season since 2004 hanging in the balance, Denison's defense responded with a 21-7 victory over Kenyon College.

Senior defensive lineman Tim Dukovich and senior quarterback Michael Barnes were named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District IV team which is selected annually by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Football: Wittenberg keeps Denison offense at bay
Andrew Durbin passed for 189 yards, ran for two scores and hooked up with Patrick Williams for a 74-yard touchdown pass on the second play of the game, helping Wittenberg to a 23-0 victory over the Denison Big Red on Dave Maurer Day in Springfield, Ohio.

Senior running back Jon Berg was named North Coast Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week following his performance in Denison's 26-14 win over the University of Chicago.

Football: Winning streak moves to three games after win over Chicago
Denison jumped out to a 23 point lead through two and a half quarters en route to a 26-14 victory over the visiting University of Chicago in front of 1,140 at Deeds Field-Piper Stadium. After seven weeks Denison enters next Saturday's clash with Wittenberg at 4-3.

Football: Defense leads Denison past Allegheny
Jon Berg rushed for 145 yards off 24 carries and gave the Big Red the lead with a 1-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, rallying Denison past Allegheny 13-10 in front of a large homecoming crowd at Deeds Field-Piper Stadium.

Football: Big Red grinds out victory at Hiram
Entering Saturday's key North Coast Athletic Conference match-up with Hiram College the offensive game plan was to keep things on the ground and pound the football directly at the heart of the Hiram defense. Even after three consecutive turnovers in the opening quarter, Denison held true to the game plan, eventually wearing down the Terriers for a 31-13 victory at Henry Field.

Football: No. 14 Case Western too much for Big Red
Dan Whalen passed for 231 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 75 more as No. 14 Case Western Reserve topped Denison 45-14 at Case Field in Cleveland.

Football: Holter, Scots defense hold off Big Red
Wooster quarterback Austin Holter scored on a 67 yard run found Cameron Daniels on a 2-yard scoring pass in the third quarter to lead the Fighting Scots to a come from behind, 21-10 victory over Denison in front of a standing room only crowd at Deeds Field-Piper Stadium.
